The voltages at the terminal block
The first thing you need to do when your Whirlpool electric dryer is not starting in any of the cycles that you try it on is the voltages at the terminal block. The dryer need to get 240 volts for the heating element and 120 volts to run the motor and the timer
The thermal fuse

Timer assembly
The timer is the brain of the dryer. It is use to select deferent cycles. With time and according to how often the dryer is use the internal contacts inside of the timer could get burned out preventing to send electricity to the motor.
